The great room is a favorite gathering space for watching tv or reminiscing about the days favorite events down at the dock or on the water. It has a beautiful view of the lake and easy access to the back deck and screened in porch which has a large table for up to 10 (comfortable)-12 (tight) people. The stunning master bedroom is next to the great room and overlooks the lake with a walk out sliding door into the screen porch. It is nicely decorated with a king size bedroom set and with an on-suite bathroom. On the opposite side of the great room/kitchen are the other 2 bedrooms separated by a hall entry full bathroom. The Queen bedroom has a sliding glass door to open to the back deck overlooking the lake. On the other side of the bathroom is a bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds facing the front yard. The lay out of the lower level (basement) is very similar to the main level with the entertainment room in the middle and bedrooms on either side. The entertainment room has a pool table that converts to a ping pong table, TV surrounded by sofa and love seat and easy lake access with the 2 walk out sliding glass doors. As you walk down the steps and enter the main room on the left is a utility room with the washer and drier, hot water heater, electric panel, etc. The 2nd door leads to a queen bedroom with windows overlooking the lake. On the other side of the main room are 2 bedrooms separated by the hall bathroom. To the left of the bathroom is the King bedroom with 2 windows overlooking the lake. The bedroom to the right is another bunk bed room with 2 sets of twin over full beds…this is the favorite room of the kids! As you make your way down the hill to the lake you will find a beautiful land and hard-scaping surrounding a stone fire pit and patio (ample fire wood included at no charge to you )...a great place for hanging out in the shade and still feel like you are part of the dock activities. Continue your way down the steps to 3 boat docks where swimming and watching the boaters go by is prime! Our newest improvement is our large dock now has a roof over a portion of the deck to allow for shade as desired, yet still allowing plenty of sun for the sun bathers. And the added bonus is the magnificent sunsets you will experience with our west facing house. If you have a boat you will appreciate the 4 point tie up area between the 2 docks. By the lay of the land the depth of the water drops off steeply but with the steps at the water’s edge makes for an easier entry and exit point for both humans and our 4 legged friends…just please be careful not to slip on the steps as algae does build up naturally. Our Lake house is perfectly designed for families and friends that are looking for a quiet getaway that is still close enough to some metropolitan cities. Please keep in mind that the hill to the lake is not suitable for the lesser mobile people. Come and enjoy a wonderful lake vacation! The home is three bedrooms and each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Larger groups we have determined are to much stress on the house, especially the well and water filtration system. If your party is larger than six please look for a larger home we will no longer be hosting groups over six persons. There are about 45 homes in this private neighborhood and over half of them are occupied by full time residents. Many of these residents have retired to this community to enjoy the quiet, relaxing pace of life here. This is a great community to unwind, recharge and spend time with friends and family. If you are looking for a quiet, slow paced getaway to spend with friends and family this is the vacation spot for you. It is very important that renters are mindful and respectful of residents and community. This will help everyone enjoy this great and convenient spot on Lake Anna ! You will truly feel on vacation the minute you walk through the door and see the beautiful lake view from this cedar home. The huge deck is a great place to hang out with friends, or enjoy your morning coffee. The living room has a gorgeous stone fire place and newly renovated kitchen. Great features of the public side are three restaurants you can go to by boat and several marinas where you can get gas. The hot side has no restaurants and no marinas. Free Unlimited WiFi TV channels come from WIFI Streaming App called FUBO TV. We also have NFL Red Zone, Showtime. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu . There is also a Blue Ray player and some DVDs and Redbox is available at the Food Lion 1 mile away. (During heavy storms TV or Internet can be effected) Slips and Docks Guests with boats and Jet Ski's can park them on the grass. See photos that shows the location. We have a private boat launch and docks, however they are not assigned and are on a fist come first serve basis for owners. The owners boats are on the main lake side and the slots available on the land side closer to the shore are best for guest. There are normally a few open but we can't guarantee you one. If none are available you will have to pull you water craft in and out. We also do not allow Jet Ski's to be parked in the docks they have to be put in and pulled out or tied to the anchor line just outside the swim area. Yes we have had this happen and it will result in us charging you addition fees or guest having to leave. Our price is based on several factors that cost us money. Cleaning crews, trash removal, utilities and our linen service. Be upfront and honest with the number of guest you will have staying. We do check. Our maximum over night guest we allow is 6. Security Cameras - We have three outside cameras. The neighborhood is extremely safe. These are mostly so can be sure the cleaning crew and linen service and trash service have made it to the house when we have quick turn arounds. They are also to be sure new guest have been able to get in. One is pointed on the front driveway and entrance and the others are on the rear of the house. Do not unplug the relay by the front door that is labeled Security Cameras. Once we know you are in usually turn them off during your stay. Early Check in or Late Check Out is a $50 fee and has to be approved by the owner and will only be allowed when the schedule can handle it. We often have limited time to turn the property over for the next guest. We also reserve the right to cancel it should a reservation request for that date come in. (Since Covid 19 we are rarely able to do early or late checkins. NO PETS- Means no pets. No exceptions. Please do not email us and ask us to make an exception.
